1. 祈使句+and/or+陈述句

并列连词and和or都可以用于“祈使句+and/or+陈述句”表示结果（即陈述句所表示的内容为前面祈使句内容的结果），此时虽然and和or都可以用，但意思有所不同：and表示“那么”，or表示“否则”。

Learn to manage time wisely, and you can make the most of each day.

学会明智地安排时间，你就能充分利用每一天。

Get up early, and you will catch the first bus.=If you get up early, you will catch the first bus.

早起些，你就能赶上第一班公共汽车了。

Wait for a moment and you will find something interesting.

等一下，你会发现有趣之处。

"祈使句+or+陈述句“，相当于“否定的if 条件状语从句/unless 从句（unless 意为“如果不”）+主句“。

Put on your coat, or you will catch a cold. = If you don't put on your coat/Unless you put on your coat, you will catch a cold.

穿上外套，否则你会感冒的。

Speak the truth or you will be punished.

说真话，要不然你会受惩罚。

Work harder, or you will fail the exam.

学习再努力些，否则你会考试不及格。

2. “祈使句+and+陈述句”句型的两种变化形式

（1）祈使句+破折号+陈述句。

Try some of this juice—perhaps you’ll like it.

尝尝这种果汁，也许你会喜欢的。

（2）名词词组+and+陈述句，其中名词词组中通常含有more, another, further, earlier等词。

Three more days/Another three days, and we'll finish the task.

再有三天时间，我们就能完成这项任务了。

More effort, and you will succeed. 再努力一些，你会成功的。

此外，“祈使句+and/or+陈述句”可以转化为条件状语从句。

即上述句型中的祈使句也可以由名词短语充当。

One more hour/Another one hour and we'll get everything ready for take-off.

再有一个小时，我们就会做好起飞的一切准备。

Work hard, and you will succeed.

→If you work hard, you will succeed.

Hurry up, or you’ll miss the last bus.

→If you don’t hurry up, you’ll miss the last bus.

同义句转换：

Keep up with the latest news, or you will be confused about the situation.
If you don't keep up with the latest news, you will be confused about the situation.
Unless you keep up with the latest news, you will be confused about the situation.
